Cupcake Toppers

I know you have all been wondering what wonderful edible treat will you find at the top of your cupcake. Time to put your mind at ease...(Fingers crossed "Sugar Craft by Rosie" is a real vendor and not an online scam.)

An ice tiger IS super cool . . but. . .

Jay - we all know that an Ice Tiger is too freakin' cool for words. But if you want to REALLY impress us all you may want to look into seeing if your guys can make ice sculptures of Matt Lauer & Katie Couric?? Talk about bringing cool to a "different level!"

Rehearsal Dinner

Patsy and Jay have sent out invitations to the rehearsal dinner they have so graciously offered to host. The dinner will be at 800 p.m. Friday at Buona Sera restaurant in Champlin, MN. It is a great place. We are PUMPED!

We haven't firmed up rehearsal plans yet, but it looks like we'll have the rehearsal (maybe at our house?) around 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. We'll post more about the rehearsal and contact ya'll about it in the next week or two.

Tuxes

Jay picked out some sweet tuxes at MW Tux. They look a lot like this picture.

Jay says: To get fitted for your tux please visit any Men’s Wearhouse or MW Tux to get measured by May 7 if possible. It looks like they are pretty prevalent in all of our locations (including Madison, Duluth, and Oakland). I think they will ask you for a $20 down payment when you stop in to get measured. Our group # is 1700459, which you’ll need to tell them when you go in to get fitted.

They’ll ask you which location you want your tux delivered to, and that will be the Ridgedale Mall location in Minnetonka for anyone who is able to make it to the Twin Cities Friday afternoon to pick up our tuxes together before the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. If any of you are going to have a tough time getting to the Twin Cities (probably our house) by mid afternoon that Friday, you can ask them to deliver your tux to whichever location is convenient for you to pick up from. You can get it as early as Thursday June 12^th, but most of us will just pick them up on the 13th at Ridgedale.

Origin of bridesmaids...As one story goes, a bride in early England would surround herself with friends -- dressed in outfits identical to her own -- to confuse evil spirits that might want to curse her happiness. In another, bridesmaids escorted the bride to the wedding to protect her from marauders after her dowry. woah! So if you could protect me from marauders that would be great.
